In a major, high-value project – the second at this particular plant in Mexico – NUTEC Bickley will supply a 125m-long tunnel kiln to one of the world’s leading advanced ceramics manufacturers.
NUTEC Bickley and the Ceramic Colors Industry
At NUTEC Bickley, we have vast know-how in designing and manufacturing industrial kilns for ceramics and advanced materials, such as tunnel kilns, roller kilns and shuttle kilns for the Ceramic Colors industry.
Our kilns use the latest ECOmbustion™ and control technology to fire products with optimal temperature uniformity and atmosphere conditions to ensure consistent final colors.
The ceramic colors and pigments calcined in NUTEC Bickley kilns are inorganic metal oxides used in the paint, plastic, and dye industries.
With over 45 years’ experience, including recent gas-fired and electrically heated installations, NUTEC Bickley has demonstrated wide knowledge and experience firing ceramic colors. As most ceramic colors are handled as powders, they need to be carried in ceramic saggars during the firing or calcining stages. Temperature uniformity and oxygen levels are sometimes critical, so our kilns are designed with that in mind. The kilns can be fitted with thermal oxidizers or post-exhaust cleaning systems to protect the environment. NUTEC Bickley has supplied many kilns around the world for firing ceramic colors.
NUTEC Bickley supplies tunnel kilns, roller kilns and shuttle kilns with the latest ECOmbustion™ technology to fire all types of inorganic ceramic colors.
