Categorías

Multiple Valve Combinations. Two or more Adjustable Port Valves can be used in combination to control air, fuel(s), and atomizing medium.

Versatility. Valves can be “stacked” on a common shaft, or mounted side-by-side with linked control handles, or both.

Flexible. A side-by-side arrangement generally allows more flexibility.

Multiple Uses. The valves are equipped with an Alemite #1 650 lubrication fitting. When used in steam applications, valves are lubricated with a silicone based lubricant.

Fluid Flow. Flow is proportional to the square root of the pressure drop across the valve, except for fluids having high viscosities.

Design. Valves are designed for control of combustion air up to 3 psi, they aren’t for tight shutoff and cannot be used for gas.

Ease of Use. Butterfly Valves feature a knurled knob locking device that prevents accidental shifting of valve setting. It is easily released, then re-locked, if a new setting is desired.

Safety First. To discourage unauthorized tampering with the valve setting, the knob can be replaced with a socket head screw as the locking device. The socket head screw is conveniently supplied in the side of the knob.

Adaptability. The locking device makes them advantageous as limiting orifice valves, often preferable to fixed orifices, which are difficult to select in advance or change in the field.

Built to Last. Butterfly Valve bodies are sturdy, thick-walled iron castings, short in length to facilitate piping. Threads or flanges are carefully machined to provide accurate alignment of valve throat with the piping.
