BELL FURNACES

Experience efficiency and performance with our Bell Furnaces

NUTEC Bickley Bell Furnaces

Bell furnaces are commonly used for intermittent or batch processes. Their principal use is to perform heat treatment, although they can also be used for sintering or drying at low temperature.

The load/product is heated inside a mobile cover or dome, which can be removed using a traveling hoist. Alternatively, we can design an automatic lifting mechanism in accordance with customer requirements.

Key Differentiators
Versatility: Different lifting methods available, according to customer requirements and design.
Great Value: Offers an economical method of heat treatment when used with multiple bases.
Reliability: Excellent positive seal between furnace and base; furnace can be used with multiple bases.
Simplicity: Does not require any mechanism (such as a door or car) allied to its design, ensuring a positive seal on the floor/base.
Optimal Productivity: Normally, it can change position or base, remaining operational for longer. While one load is processed, the other will be cooling or loading/unloading, optimizing furnace use.
Low Maintenance: Maintenance is limited to the combustion and control equipment by not having mechanisms or moving parts in the furnace.

Frequently asked questions about our bell furnaces

How does a bell furnace work?

Bell furnaces are commonly used for intermittent or batch processes. Their principal use is to perform heat treatment, although they can also be used for sintering or drying at low temperature.

The load/product is heated inside a mobile cover or dome, which can be removed using a traveling hoist.

What is a bell annealing furnace?

A bell annealing furnace is a heat treatment system designed for controlled annealing of metal coils, sheets, and wire, improving their ductility, machinability, and internal structure. It features a removable bell-shaped heating chamber that covers the workload, creating a sealed environment for precise temperature control and uniform heat distribution. These furnaces often use protective atmospheres, such as nitrogen or hydrogen, to prevent oxidation and ensure high-quality material properties.

Nutec Bickley specializes in high-efficiency bell annealing furnaces with advanced combustion and electric heating systems, ensuring precise temperature control and uniform heat distribution for optimal annealing results
